Teachers' Experience of Using Fast Mapping in Teaching Vocabulary For Kindergarten Students

The use of media has been widely used in learning, including learning English for kindergarten student. Because learning english for kindergarten students have not been able to read and write, then the use of fast mapping in English learning activities. Can be one of alternatives. The purpose of this research is to identify the experience of a teacher implementing fast mapping in vocabulary learning. The research uses qualitative with narrative inquiry approach. The data collected by interviewing teachers’ using fast mapping method in the learning process and taking pictures during the learning process. The result of this study contribute to the development of kindergarten students in english learning through the experience of teachers using fast mapping method. Some teachers said, they had a pleasant experience when teaching using fast mapping, including the creation of fun learning, well managed classes, and the improvement of students’ interest in learning.
