Indonesian Efl Students’ Perception Of Adapting Dictogloss Technique In A Classroom Debate
Dictogloss is one technique used in the English language classroom, especially to assist in preparing arguments in the practice of debate. Studies on the dictogloss technique in English language learning have involved the descriptive report of students’ dictogloss facts, such as the effectiveness of using this technique in the debate classroom. They have not yet exposed the issue in much detail, especially in students’ perception of using this technique in a classroom debate. Therefore, this study addresses what the students think about the use of dictogloss technique during the EFL debate classroom. Using a case study, the data were collected through semi-structured interviews involving 5 (five) students who had participated in a debate course. Through this study, students' responses were revealed when using the dictogloss technique.
