Students' Feelings in Problem-Based Learning Model as a Way to Practice Speaking in an EFL Class of Senior High School : A Narrative Inquiry
This study aims to investigate how students' feelings about Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model as a way to practice their speaking and what are the students' difficulties in practicing speaking by using this learning model. the data were taken from the semi-structured interview and analyzed using thematic analysis. This study involved five students in the twelfth grade as the participants. The result of this study revealed that students experienced positive and negative feelings during practicum using problem based learning mode. However, the data showed that positive feelings are more dominant than negative feelings. The students felt excitement, enthusiasm, and were surprised by problem based learning model. Beside that, the students' difficulties in this learning model, there are that; did not have many words, had low pronunciation, and lacked of ability to make sentences in English.
